The Lagos State Commissioner for Tertiary Education, Hon. Sule Tolani, has praised the efforts of Hon. Ege Olusegun Adebisi, Member of the Lagos State House of Assembly representing Ojo Constituency 01, during the annual stakeholders’ meeting held at the Ojo Town Hall on Thursday.

The well-attended event brought together political leaders, community stakeholders, youth groups, and residents of the constituency to discuss developmental strides, policy directions, and community engagement.

In his address, Hon. Tolani commended Hon. Ege for his consistent commitment to the progress of Ojo and for facilitating platforms that foster dialogue between government and the people. He also used the occasion to outline the achievements of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s administration, citing ongoing infrastructural projects, improvements in the education sector, and enhanced governance as major milestones.

“The Sanwo-Olu administration has remained people-focused and development-driven. From road construction to tertiary education reform, Lagos is on the path to greater growth,” he said.

The Commissioner further urged residents to take the ongoing voter registration exercise seriously, emphasizing the importance of obtaining and safeguarding their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) in preparation for the 2027 general elections.

He stressed that active political participation was vital to sustaining progress and ensuring the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and other APC candidates at both state and national levels.

“We must take our civic responsibilities seriously. Our PVCs are our power. To return President Tinubu and keep the APC on track to deliver, we must all be involved,” Hon. Tolani said.

The meeting concluded with an interactive session where constituents raised questions and shared their concerns, with assurances from Hon. Ege and other officials of continuous engagement and commitment to grassroots development.
