The lawmaker representing Ikorodu Constituency I at the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Ogunleye Gbolahan Adetokunbo (OGA), has once again demonstrated his unwavering passion for the progress of Ikorodu and its people, particularly the youth.
In a strategic and impactful meeting yesterday, Hon. Ogunleye welcomed Hon. Sam Adeyemi, Member of the Lagos State Youth Parliament representing Ikorodu Constituency I, alongside his Technical Working Group. The courtesy visit was centered on forging stronger partnerships to accelerate youth empowerment, inclusive governance, and sustainable community development in Ikorodu.
During the meeting, Hon. Ogunleye assured the delegation of his continued commitment to sponsoring people-oriented motions and legislative actions that directly benefit the youth and the wider community. He emphasized that the future of Ikorodu rests in the hands of its young people, and as such, deliberate investment in their growth, education, and opportunities remains a top priority.

From education, digital literacy, ICT development, mentorship, entrepreneurship, sports, and cultural programs — I am committed to supporting policies and projects that will position our young people for success,” Hon. Ogunleye stated.
He further commended the youth parliament for their dedication to civic engagement and encouraged them to remain consistent in their advocacy for positive change. According to him, Ikorodu is entering a new era of growth and transformation, and collaborative efforts between leaders and the youth will fast-track development across the constituency.
