BREAKING: Lagos State Government Urges Indigenes to Enlist in Nigerian Army Recruitment Exercise

The Lagos State Government has called on qualified indigenes to take advantage of the ongoing 90 Regular Recruits Intake (RRI) exercise by the Nigerian Army to serve their country.

According to an official notice from the Office of the Secretary to the State Government (OSSG), the recruitment is open exclusively to Lagos State indigenes between the ages of 18 and 26. Applicants must possess a minimum of four passes in two sittings in either WAEC, NECO, or Trade Test Certificate.

Registration is to be completed online via https://recruitment.army.mil.ng between September 29 and November 14, 2025. Candidates are also required to submit their printed registration slips to the Cabinet Office, Block 1, The Secretariat, Alausa–Ikeja.

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu urged Lagos youths to seize the opportunity to contribute to national security and development, emphasizing that the Army offers a disciplined, rewarding, and patriotic career path.

The government reiterated its commitment to youth empowerment and encouraged eligible citizens to take part in the recruitment drive aimed at strengthening Nigeria’s armed forces.
