Manchester United delivered a stunning performance to shock Premier League leaders Arsenal 3–2 in a dramatic five-goal clash at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday evening.
The Gunners took an early lead when United defender Lisandro Martínez inadvertently turned the ball into his own net, giving Arsenal the advantage just before the half-hour mark. However, United responded before the break through Bryan Mbeumo, who took full advantage of a loose pass to slot home the equaliser.
United seized the lead early in the second half as Patrick Dorgu unleashed a fierce strike that cannoned in off the underside of the bar, leaving goalkeeper David Raya with no chance. Arsenal looked to salvage a point when Mikel Merino bundled in from a corner in the 84th minute, drawing the hosts level once again.
But the drama wasn’t over. With just minutes remaining, Matheus Cunha struck a sublime curling effort from distance, sealing a thrilling 3–2 victory for United and sending the away fans into raptures.
The result marks Arsenal’s first home league defeat of the season and cuts their lead at the top to just four points, intensifying the battle for the title as rivals Manchester City and Aston Villa also enjoyed positive results this weekend. United, meanwhile, continue their resurgence under interim manager Michael Carrick, rising into the Champions League spots with consecutive impressive results against top opposition.

The thrilling contest showcased the unpredictable drama of the Premier League and leaves both teams with plenty to ponder as the season reaches its crucial stages.
