Hon. Ege Rallies Stakeholders Ahead of Alaba Rago Road Construction, Urges Support for APC

Hon. Ege Olusegun Adebisi, Member of the Lagos State House of Assembly representing Ojo Constituency 01, on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, joined officials of the Lagos State Office of Urban Development and the Lagos State Urban Renewal Agency at a stakeholders’ engagement meeting held in Alaba Rago, Iba Local Council Development Area.

The meeting was convened to sensitize residents and market leaders about the government’s plan to commence road construction in the Alaba Rago area — a project aimed at enhancing infrastructure and improving access within the busy market hub.

Speaking at the event, Hon. Ege emphasized the importance of community cooperation and urged stakeholders to safeguard government property and materials throughout the course of the construction. He highlighted the significance of the project to local development and called on residents to continue supporting the All Progressives Congress (APC), particularly as the 2027 general elections approach.

“This project is for the benefit of all,” Hon. Ege stated. “I implore you to protect the materials and equipment that will be used during the construction. Your support for development must go hand in hand with your support for the party that prioritizes your welfare.”

The engagement drew participation from market leaders, youth representatives, traditional authorities, and residents, all of whom expressed optimism about the positive impact the road project would bring to the community.

Officials from the urban development agencies reiterated the state government’s commitment to inclusive development and pledged that the road construction would be carried out efficiently with minimal disruption to economic activities in the area.
