The Executive Chairman of Oto-Awori Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Kareem Azeez Abiodun, has carried out an inspection of key community projects, reaffirming his administration’s commitment to education and infrastructure development.
Hon. Kareem visited the ongoing construction of a new block of 12 classrooms, two offices, and toilet facilities at Community Nursery and Primary School, Ilemba-Awori. The project, according to him, is designed to provide pupils with a conducive learning environment and modern educational facilities.
In addition to the school inspection, the Chairman also assessed the deplorable state of roads around Kareem Street and Oloko Street. He noted the urgent need for intervention, stressing that road rehabilitation is critical to ensuring the safety of residents, improving mobility, and boosting local economic activities.
“These projects reflect our administration’s resolve to invest in education while also tackling infrastructural challenges affecting our people,” Hon. Kareem stated during the inspection.
