The Legislative Arm of Iba Local Council Development Area (LCDA) has held a Familiarization Program with the Heads of Departments (HODs) and Heads of Units (HOUs) of the council to strengthen collaboration and ensure unity of purpose in governance.
The event, which took place on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at the Legislative Floor, brought together lawmakers and administrative heads in what was described as a bold step towards driving growth and development in Iba LCDA.
Speaking at the program, the councillors collectively emphasized the importance of synergy between both arms, noting that meaningful progress can only be achieved through cooperation, accountability, and a shared commitment to service delivery. They assured residents of Iba LCDA that the legislative arm is fully committed to policies and actions that will move the council forward.
In their remarks, the HODs and HOUs commended the initiative of the legislative arm, applauding the Chairman and the Leader of the House for their leadership. They also pledged to work hand-in-hand with the councillors to ensure that the people of Iba benefit from improved governance and development-oriented projects.
The program ended with a renewed resolve from both the legislative and administrative arms to strengthen ties and build a more progressive Iba LCDA.
