The Kaaro Ojire Youth Forum, under the leadership of its National President, Comrade Mohammed Saheed Ishola, has congratulated Mr. Seyi Tinubu, the first son of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, on his installation as the Okanlomo of Yorubaland by the Alaafin of Oyo.
In a congratulatory statement issued on behalf of the forum, Comrade Ishola described the installation as a well-deserved honour that reflects Mr. Seyi’s growing influence, commitment to youth development, and contributions to the socio-cultural advancement of the Yoruba people.
According to the youth body, the conferment of the prestigious title by the Alaafin of Oyo, a foremost custodian of Yoruba tradition and culture, is a clear recognition of Mr. Seyi’s leadership qualities and his efforts in engaging and empowering young people across the country.
The forum noted that the title of Okanlomo carries significant cultural responsibility, symbolizing courage, service, and dedication to the progress of Yorubaland and Nigeria at large. It expressed confidence that Mr. Seyi would uphold the values and expectations associated with the revered title.
