The All Progressives Congress (APC), Lagos State Chapter, has announced the sudden passing of its newly elected Assistant Publicity Secretary, Hon. Karamo Yesiro.
In a statement released on Tuesday, the party described his death as shocking, painful, and a tragic loss, particularly at a time when his energy and dedication to the progressive cause were most needed.
Hon. Yesiro, who was recently elected into the Lagos State Executive Council of the party, was said to have demonstrated unwavering loyalty, commitment, and passion for progressive politics. According to the party leadership, his brief tenure left a lasting impression on colleagues and members across the state.
The Lagos APC noted that although his time in office was tragically cut short, his humility, enthusiasm, and readiness to serve distinguished him as a vibrant and dependable party man. The party further stated that his contributions to strengthening the APC structure in Lagos State would not be forgotten.
Extending condolences to his family and associates, the party expressed solidarity with his immediate family, political allies, friends, and supporters during what it described as a deeply difficult period.
“We pray that Almighty God grants his family the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss and grants his soul eternal rest,” the statement read.
The statement was signed by Seye Oladejo, Lagos APC Spokesman, on behalf of the party leadership and entire membership.
Hon. Karamo Yesiro, the party affirmed, will be remembered for his service, steadfast commitment, and belief in the progressive ideals of the APC.
He was remembered as a dedicated party stalwart whose legacy of service will endure within the Lagos APC fold.
