Hon. Ege Olusegun Adebisi, representative of Ojo Constituency 01 in the Lagos State House of Assembly, held his annual stakeholders’ meeting yesterday, delivering both cash gifts and grinding machines to 300 widows in his constituency.
The fully packed venue saw beneficiaries express deep gratitude as the lawmaker, affectionately known as “Game Changer,” reaffirmed his commitment to improving the lives of vulnerable residents. Adebisi described the event as part of his broader “Ege Oko Opo” initiative, an empowerment effort aimed at uplifting women, seniors, and other less privileged individuals in Ojo Constituency 01.
In his address, Hon. Adebisi reviewed several key accomplishments from the past year. He highlighted efforts across education, youth employment, women’s empowerment, security, healthcare, and environmental protection; adding that tangible interventions such as school supply distributions (“Back to School” backpacks) have already borne fruit in local communities.
This year’s meeting, held under the statewide theme “Governance in Action: the Gains of the Renewed Hope Agenda,” is part of a coordinated initiative launched in 2015 by the Lagos State House of Assembly aimed at engaging constituents, promoting transparency, and embedding dialogue into the fabric of governance
