
Lagos State Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu today swore in new members of the Lagos State Market Advisory Council (LASMAC), emphasizing the crucial role markets play in the state’s economy and the livelihoods of millions of Lagosians. The Governor highlighted the government’s commitment to the development, security, and sustainability of markets across Lagos.

The swearing-in ceremony, led by the Iyaloja-General, Chief (Mrs) Folashade Tinubu-Ojo, saw the Governor urging the new council members to be proactive, transparent, and fair in their duties. He stressed the importance of prioritizing the interests of both traders and consumers in all decisions, ensuring the markets remain vibrant hubs for business and commerce.The administration plans to support this vision through improved infrastructure, strategic policies, and training programs designed to empower traders and strengthen their businesses.
