…Hon. Sesi Whingan Welcomes Lagos Governor for Major Infrastructure Milestone
Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, is scheduled to commission a series of critical road projects in the Badagry Federal Constituency on Tuesday, August 6, 2025, as part of his administration’s ongoing infrastructure renewal drive.
The Governor to be welcomed by Hon. Sesi Oluwaseun Whingan, Member of the House of Representatives representing Badagry Federal Constituency and Deputy Chairman of the House Committee on Petroleum Resources (Upstream).
According to the official programme banner, Governor Sanwo-Olu will commission the following upgraded roads:
Aradagun-Mosafejo-Ilado-Imeke Road
Upgraded Hospital Road
Samuel Ekundayo Road
The roads are expected to significantly boost inter-community connectivity, ease traffic flow, and enhance economic activities in the Badagry axis — a key corridor with historical and strategic significance in Lagos State.
Hon. Whingan, in his welcome message, described the Governor’s visit as a landmark moment for the people of Badagry, commending the Sanwo-Olu administration’s commitment to infrastructure development in underserved areas.
The commissioning underscores the Lagos State Government’s broader THEMES Plus agenda, which prioritizes transportation and infrastructure renewal as pillars for inclusive development across the state.
