In a decisive move to consolidate grassroots support and translate legislative representation into tangible socio-economic benefits, the Senator representing Lagos West, Distinguished Senator(Mrs)Idiat Oluranti Adebule (PhD), has concluded arrangements for the 2025 Annual Mega Empowerment Programme for constituents across the senatorial district.
The empowerment programme, themed “Empower Today, Transform Tomorrow,” is designed to deliver practical skills acquisition, empowerment tools, and economic support capable of driving self-reliance and long-term prosperity. Beneficiaries were selected from across the 28 Local Governments and Local Council Development Areas (LGAs/LCDAs) in Lagos West, reflecting a deliberate policy of inclusiveness and equitable distribution.
The initiative forms part of Senator Adebule’s sustained legislative and constituency interventions aimed at strengthening human capital development, reducing unemployment, and boosting small-scale enterprise growth, particularly among youths, women, artisans, and vulnerable groups.
Scheduled to hold on Saturday, 10th January 2026, at Plot 6, Lateef Jakande Road, Agidingbi, Lagos, by 10:00am, the programme is expected to draw a large turnout of beneficiaries, party leaders, community stakeholders, and political actors from across Lagos West.
