The Lagos State Government has announced that repair works will commence on Ozumba Mbadiwe Road, covering the stretch from Bonny Camp Junction, starting Monday, September 15, to Sunday, September 21, 2025.
According to the Ministry of Transportation, the rehabilitation will take place nightly between 9:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. to minimize disruptions to daytime traffic flow along the busy corridor.
The Commissioner for Transportation, Mr. Oluwaseun Osiyemi, appealed to motorists to exercise patience and cooperate with traffic management officials during the period, assuring that all necessary measures have been put in place to ease movement.
He added that the temporary inconvenience is part of the government’s ongoing efforts to improve road infrastructure and ensure safer, smoother commuting across Lagos.
